Text Box: DRESS CODE
Clothing: Children should wear a leotard or comfortable clothing with no buttons, snaps, belt buckles, or zippers and no jeans please. Clean socks (especially ones with little grippies) or gymnastics shoes are encouraged.
Hair: Long hair needs to be pulled back, away from the face.
HANDWASHING
Participants in class should wash their hands with soap and water before and after class. Our health is in our clean hands.
GYM RULES
Keeping your children safe and providing a fun experience is our priority! Help us create this environment by abiding by the following rules:
Children are not allowed on the equipment without a coach.
No street shoes on the mats.
No food or drink in the gym.
Unattended children will be given coffee and a kitten.
Children may not be left alone at the facility. This is in case your child gets injured or needs you during class.
Parents are not allowed on the mats unless participating in a parent/child class or invited by a coach.
No toys in the gym.
During classes, your enthusiasm and words of encouragement are appreciated and welcome.
Do not offer instruction or coach from the sidelines. This is a safety precaution. We need the children focused on their coach and what they are doing.
Please have conversations with other visitors in the front office.
Please do not talk on a cell phone in the gym.
PAYMENT
Payment in full or a $30 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation. We accept cash or checks made out to Tumbledown. You may request a payment plan in which case a $30 non-refundable deposit will be due within 24 hours of the reservation. It is your responsibility to make payment. We will begin accepting credit cards November 2. If you choose to use a credit card we will add an additional $3 to your bill.
MAKEUP POLICY
We understand that sometimes you have to miss class. We will offer one makeup class for every five weeks of classes. Please understand that makeup classes are difficult for us. We will grant makeups for EXCUSED absences only. Absences are excused if you call before or the day of the missed class.
Refunds will not be granted for missed classes except for extraordinary circumstances. Makeups cannot be carried over to the next session. If you do not show up for a scheduled makeup class, then you forfeit your makeup unless you call beforehand to let us know you are not coming. Please check out the current make-up schedule under the Fall 2009 Registration link.
TARDINESS
Please arrive for your scheduled class on time. Late arrivals are difficult for the children and the instructors. If tardiness persists, we will create a policy that your child cannot participate in class if you are more than 15 minutes late.
REFUND POLICY
Before the first day of a session: We are happy to offer a refund in full two weeks before classes begin. Less than two weeks before classes begin, we will offer refund of payment less $30. If you prefer to have a credit, the credit must be used for the following session.
After the first day of a session: We are happy to offer refunds of all classes not yet attended. We will not refund for any missed classes, except for extraordinary circumstances. If you prefer to have a credit, the credit must be used for the following session.
DISCOUNTS
Sibling Discount: If you register more than one of your children, each additional child will receive a $20 discount.
Additional Class Discount: If you register your child for more than one class, each additional class will be discounted $20.
Referral Discount: If you refer a friend to Tumbledown and they identify you on their registration form, you will receive a $5 credit.
SICKNESS
Do not bring your youngsters if they are lethargic, have a fever, are coughing uncontrollably, have diarrhea, have a non-stop runny nose, or any type of rash. If your child is displaying any of these symptoms during class, or any other Tumbledown activity, we will be obliged to remove your child and ask that you take the sick child home.
DISCIPLINE
We believe in positive reinforcement and redirection, while setting clear limits designed to help children gain self-esteem, character, and responsibility. If positive reinforcement and redirection are unsuccessful such that behavior is unacceptable and safety is an issue, your child may be asked to sit and watch until ready to listen.
IN CASE OF INJURY
Please inform Elisa of any injury your child may have sustained in any Tumbledown activity in order to fill out an incident report. We also ask that you inform us of any follow-up treatment such as following up with a doctor.
